How does each package work?
First things first all of our clients have unlimited communication with us. We are here if you have a question or concern, advice on how to choose a vendor or if you simply need an ear to listen. Our brides are very important to us and we will take as much time with each and every one as they need.
Diamond and Fleur de Lis:
The Diamond and Fleur de Lis packages are both Full service wedding planning. First step is to determine the best venue for your ceremony and reception based on your individual needs and desire. Once we have a clear idea of the dynamics of your event we research the many beautiful venues for the perfect place to give you and your guest the atmosphere, space that works with your budget.
Once you have chosen your ceremony and reception location we then begin looking for photographer, videographer, hotel accommodation, band or D.J, ceremony music, transportation, florist and bakery.
Once these vendors have been chosen it’s time to meet with the florist, do a hair and makeup trail (which we recommend you do when you decide to do engagement photos or bridal portraits), food tasting at your venue and Cake tasting. During this meeting we will begin putting together a schedule of events for your wedding day, from the time you wake up and start hair and make up to the tail end of the event when all of your belongs are packed up and give to the appropriate person and vendors begin to load out.
Once the tasting is complete we will assist you in selecting a menu and bar packages, creating a floor plan to ensure optimal flow for your guest.
As we create the time line and vendor details they will be entered into your Banquet Event Order. Your Banquet Event Order will be the guide for each vendor the day of your wedding to ensure there is no miscommunication. We will build on it from our first meeting until it is completely filled out. The Banquet Event Order will be your check list to ensure you are on the track to completion. You will see the first draft of your Banquet event order after you do a tasting at your reception venue.
What is the difference between the Diamond package and the Fleur de Lis package?
The only difference between the two packages is that the Diamond package includes rehearsal dinner coordination. We will repeat many of the same steps when planning your rehearsal dinner. Such as finding a venue, entertainment (if needed), Transportation (if needed), we will ensure that the photographer and videographer that you chose is also available for the rehearsal dinner prior to booking them. We will assist in pick your menu and table setting.
Same Day Package:
Our same day package is for the Bride that would like to plan her own wedding but may need some guidance or reinforcements. We would start by analyzing what you have booked and what you still need to book. Then we will begin guiding you in the direction in which you need to focus whether it is on a venue or vendors or maybe you just need some help organizing the details.
If you need venue or vendor help we will provide you with a list of the best in each category. We will accompany you to your tasting (if you have not already done one) and assist with creating a floor plan to ensure optimal flow for your guest.
We will create a Banquet Event Order with all the vendor details and a timeline of events for the day of your wedding. The Banquet Event Order will be your check list to ensure you are on the track to completion. You will see the first draft of your Banquet event order after you do a tasting at your reception venue.
About 60 days prior to your wedding we will ask that all of your vendors begin communicating with us directly. This allows you to begin to relax prior to your wedding and also ensures they are getting direction form one person. We have found that this prevents any miscommunication between the planner and the vendor.
What is the most important thing you do?
The most important thing that we do is vendor confirmations. The week of your wedding we will use the Banquet Event order that we created to ensure that the vendors know exactly what to expect the day of your wedding. They will each receive written, targeted instructions about their role in your wedding on the Monday prior to your wedding, a phone call to ensure they have received it and understand and a follow up phone call on the day prior to your wedding to ensure there are no last minute changes or concerns.
