Michele Caswell-AdamsMichele Caswell-Adams, owner of Unique Weddings in New Orleans is a 4th generation New Orleanian. She began in the hotel, restaurant and event planning industry in 1989. Michele's hotel and catering experience has enhanced her knowledge of the important components of great food, fine wines, impeccable service and amazing ambiences. In 2001, Michele left her position as Director of Catering and Marketing to further develop her wedding planning business. The concept for her business was to produce exceptional and unique weddings, never “cookie-cutter”. Michele enjoys expressing her creative ideas and talents while incorporating each bride's individual style. Her wedding ceremony and reception execution is flaw-less because of her organizational skills, keen eye for detail, outstanding ability of trouble-shooting and her efforts to maintain vendor communication. Her knowledge and cutting-edge approach will introduce you to New Orleans ' best wedding offerings, the city's most talented musicians, photographers, and florists. |

Brittani AdamsBrittani Adams is the daughter of Michele Caswell-Adams, a 5th generation New Orleanian. She began her career in wedding planning part time in 2001. Her passion for design and her keen eye for detail quickly grew in to a love for the industry. She embraced the love of the industry and began working full time in the catering business and then in the hotel rooms side of the business. This experience and working with Michele has given her the tools and knowledge to understand the complex dynamics of running a successful event. Following in her mother’s footsteps she has the same ethical approaches to working with vendors and clients. Through their years of experience and active involvement within the hospitality industry, Michele and Brittani have developed an intimate knowledge of each unique venue in New Orleans ... allowing them to design and detail “seamless” events tailored to each couple.” Their goal is to create an unforgettable experience unique to each individual bride and groom as well as simplifying the complexity of the wedding planning process creating an experience that is uncomplicated, undemanding and unproblematic.” |
The Teams
While Michele and Brittani work directly with each bride and groom to plan the details of their wedding; the day of they run in teams of three on average. Each team member is briefed the week of the wedding on their responsibility the day of the wedding. They have all been trained to have the same ethical dealings with vendors and guest as Michele and Brittani do.
Michele, Brittani and their teams have planned, orchestrated and executed hundreds of weddings in a large variety of New Orleans ' churches, the most sought after reception venues, the finest restaurants, French Quarter courtyards, historic private homes, steamboats and plantations in the River Parishes.
